Food & Drinks Cans

Steel cans go for reprocessing to Pontypool in South Wales,

a traditional heartland of the UK steel industry. The recycled

steel could end up in any number of things from cars to

bridges as well as new drink cans.

Aluminium cans go to an aluminium scrap reprocessor

in Oldbury in the West Midlands.

The aluminium could end up in new cars, aeroplanes, and of course, new cans!
